I don't think Harrison can get us where we need to be, that's not me just saying it after today... Today was the first game I've watched this side play yet same plays, same dumb mistakes, one up rugby, no second phase.... I could go on. Sadly the side today has the same problems all our sides have had under KH....... No creativity and clueless playing a poor band of rugby. I've discussed this season many times over an odd pint these last few months and I've been worried that our ambition as a club seems to have disappeared.... No marquee signing, small squad etc, etc. This year was always potentially a big year for Championship sides and we look to have gone backwards under KH. This year I think we may just make up the numbers but not challenge.... Makes me think are we skint.... Watching Halifax RLFC is never boring as they say but for the wrong reasons usually. It would be nice coming into a big season as this feared by the opposition, favourites to win the League etc but I think we've settled for mediocrity and pure survival. It's sensible but not exciting and I pay my cash to be excited and to look forward and this year it's tough just to motivate my ar$e to go watch a team I've supported for well over 30 years.... The magic as gone and Harrison doesn't have the sparkle to reignite it I don't think...
I just hope he proves me wrong but I've not witnessed much in 2 odd years to think he will.....

Dead easy to keep faith in a manger who has had success. but there comes a time when a change is needed. I thought we kept Powell a season too long. Even Alex Ferguson changed his astistant many times . A New coach brings new ideas and new players. Doubt we would have signed any of the players we have this season under Powell. most of them have talked about working with Bastian in the past and looking forward to doing so again

Yes we did, second half, nearly on our own line we played the ball and I think it was that little Sheite Gareth Moore who picked it up.
AND before you start, my friends at Fev I called him a little Sheite because that's what he is when he plays against you, but if he plays for you then he's "our little Sheite" bless him.

I personally thought both teams were poor today with ball in hand. It was especially slow around the ruck area as well, think that was partly down to the way it was refereed.. Its hard in friendlies with that much chopping and changing to get back into a rhythm when you go a couple of scores down, both sides will get better. Best to judge when the league games start...

Nothing to do with season over GD it's the style of play again and the potential for a full season of the same.

There was not one single line break from Fax all the game and in 40 minutes down hill we couldn't score one point.

It was no different at Batley last week.

If Fax have another season of this type of Rugby then another few hundred will likely stop watching it.

It was a £10 entrance fee yesterday, the league game would have been £17 and for what was on display it was not worth it, fact.

I will still go come what may but there are a number who won't and the decline in the crowds off the field will have a significant impact on the field it's as simple as that.

There is a lot more at stake than "just one friendly" and I have seen nothing different from what we have been seeing over the last two previous seasons.

Not panicking but just looked like the same old same old, same moves that don't work, 2nd half we looked very poor in attack, no ideas as per last year. I see the ground is being blamed again in the paper today, same for both sides surely.
