I don't have a problem with any player trying their luck at SL, look at Shad Royston for example. If Barlow wants to go to Widnes to test his arm at SL then I wish him the best of luck. If not I'd rather have him playing FOR us rather than against us in our league.

That was quality. They had everything booked and all arranged for players etc to come on the pitch after the game and give interviews. Guess we spoilt that party.

Ok then, give me some examples? The lad defends himself and his team mates but is not a dirty player.

The punch up he started last season with Dean Gaskell (winger) for one! The lad undoubtedly has A LOT of talent but at his age 4 permanent clubs says a bit and not exactly left on the best terms at the previous 3!

He's a loose cannon which is what IMO stops him being one of the top back rowers outside of SL and ready to make the step up.

Ha ha! Come on J20 that was an obvious one that i knew you would highlight which he clearly did not start. If you watch the clip you will see that Kavanagh threw the first punch and that there were five players in attendance before Sam arrived to defend his team mate (Nash). Can you highlight any other incidents of this so called "Bully boy"? Probably not! If you actually knew the lad as i do you would quickly realise that he is not a bad or dirty player or a Bully boy as some people would try to make you believe. He is still very young and is finding his way in the game, hopefully he will be in a position to settle back at Halifax but the fact that he has been interesting other clubs speaks volumes of his potential. Ultimately how far he progresses long term in the game is up to him but for people to talk garbage about him because he is a big lad or is prepared to defend himself and his team mates is just not fair.

Only echoing the views of the majority of fans of other sides out their. You clearly know him as you keep stressing and as I have said numerous times he has a lot of ability but hasn't switched clubs so much for no reason mate!

You mentioned the "punch up he started" which is clearly your view and not others. Make your mind up J2O ...is it your view or the majority of others or are you a speculator!
