One of the Pledge items last night did not get sold due to short notice as it is this Sat night were 4x £21 tickets for the Royal Albert Halls` Classical Spectacular it is a great pity as it looks like a good show . Anybody interested please pm me.

Something mentioned on the Club Site's article about the pledge night is the 250 Club, could someone shed some light on this?

I think it was explained that if 250 people pledged £100 then we would have the money we need. Dont know if there are any benifits etc?

Great night last night as I was sat at the pledge desk and was involved with people filling the forms in. I will be giving details on the sponsored walk to Batley/Dewsbury when the fixtures are out.

It was a really fun night, well done everybody for the amount raised a really good start on the way to that 25k. Hope every body spreads the word and more people come along to the next night. Well done to all those who arranged the night and who took part in starting the fund raising! C'mon Fax fans this is really important in our bid for SL we can easily raise this money

It was an idea brought forward at last nights event, it was just another differant way for people to take part and show their support. This (if you can afford ) is ideal for Fax fans who cannot get to fundraisers or even to matches due to living away or infirmity. Or even for those (like some people who gave the £100 last night) for people who wanted to pledge their support in one contribution rather than spread over the season .
But a single £1 given by 100 people is just as important as £100 given by one , it`s just another way to pledge support along with doing the walks, sponsoring someone for walking , attending functions, buying raffle tickets, joining Steves Fantasy Rugby League team , traveling on coaches to away games , Neils 1873 club or joining The Trust and if you don`t fancy any of the above just pop a £1 in the pledge box at matches.
Last night was beyond everyones expectations lets keep this up and we will soon have it raised the best Club in the Championship with the best fans deserve the best. Sometimes we just have to go out and help to get it ourselves `cos no-one will be giving us a hand and as long as we enjoy it and we see mainly local lads playing for our team it`s got to be worth it.Thanks again.

Wasn't able to get on line yesterday. My thanks to all who contributed to a superb night despite awful weather. Total raised was £1424 as some items were sent from Germany on the understanding that we share the profits. More has been pledged since, so we are over £1500. Items will be on ebay soon. Look out for the North Queensland Cowboys signed shirt and a State of Origin (NSW) signed replica plus others. Dates on other efforts will be out soon.

Don't forget if going on ebay to go thro Fax website so some money comes back to club

There will also be a very rare item on Ebay. Its the Nr 10 of the very first ever German kit. There were only 20 Shirts ever made of the first kit. This is a collectors item and we would hope that people would take that in to consideration.
Halifax RLFC have always been very supportive on helping the German Rugby League and we hope that by sharing the proceeds both organizations can benefit. The German Rugby League would like to thank Linda and the committee for their help and hope that we can keep working together on things. Maybe in a few years time a young German born player can wear the Fax colours at some level.

Whatever monies are raised from ebay,apart from those from Germany(50% to each) will go to the club as FaxBuilder. To do it through the clubs site could make it complicated

as far as know it does not make it complicated as ebay pays the club and nothing off the seller.

"A young German player wearing Fax colours " ? Wow that would be something ,I wonder when he arrives will he already have the Yorkshire dialect when he is speaking English I hope so .
