Im sure some berks at their clubs can come up with how they have done allsorts because of the franchise, but in truth it hasnt been a catalyst like the RFL said it would be, i.e. blooding juniors, building projects.

When we talk about poor grounds why is odsal never mentioned. There is only one covered stand and it still I think has the elivated corners because of the speedway track and its allways freezing cold. There has been talk of sorting it for the last 40 years or more

They announced that they were pushing ahead to develop their own site & wouldnt be sharing with Cas.

IMO this is good for one of the Championship teams as didnt Wakey council say they could only back one bid, so means either Cas or Wakey are 'd!

I'd kick Salford, Wakey and Cas out and set the mother of all precedents. Dumping Saints would be pushing it but at least with those three sacrificial lambs there'd be no doubting was is required. Shiny plans and hardhats not welcome here

Correct me if im wrong but as i understood it the stadia had to be in place for the next licences and Cas, Wakey, Salford and Saints are nowhere near but Widnes, Fax and Leigh are, although Leigh have not yet ticked the box.
