It is massively unlikely, but the fact that were even discussing the possibility of relegation in July shows what a mess we have made of the league this season.

For me it's a mixture of 3 things. Sacking RM, poor recruitment, and the distraction of the cup run.

Fax have been playing terrible for weeks now,I predicted Fax would win one game before 21st July, Fax expert BFG described my prediction as Comedy Gold,in reality your next win could be Rochdale at home on 1st Sept.
For me a mistake getting shut of RM.Apparently the bottom 2 Clubs are relegated T the end of the season, realistically I can’t see Fax being there.

Teams do have an expiration date. I think we have met ours now tbh.

In the League Express, Brian McDermott described Toronto as "really poor" and went on to say "Against better opposition, stiffer opposition - against a Featherstone, against a Leigh, against a Toulouse, in the playoffs - at that standard, we'll lose the game for sure".

How's it come to this? I thought we WERE stiffer than last season's Qualifiers team having strengthened with "SL experienced" players such as QLT, Grix, Kavanagh and Larroyer.

I just don't get it, guys.

Too much blind faith in players that should have been moved along.

Well, that's probably more of a factor than it ever was. It's not just who you've signed and whether your key players stay fit, it's who you can get on Dual Reg.

Norman I agree totally with yer post, Fax have been very disappointing this season, probably the RM factor,I’m not sure.
As for us folk keep saying at the start of the season they would have settled for mid table, but you are spot on in saying our current team is so different from the pre season one, which is why we will challenge for 2nd spot at the end of the season.
Our game at Barrow on Sunday will be hard but we should win, get Brierley back fit,and anything can happen, I predict we will sign a wing or centre soon, maybe both.

Widnes will be a hard game for Fax, more than just Ah Van and Gelling though,HH, Ashley Bott, Jack Owens,and the Chapelhow lads, they are a decent team.Have a good week end.

Absolutely, I’m sure that Toronto will be worried about you guys if that is the playoff, they bottled it last year so that will also be playing on their minds. I think moving Rowley on was a good move as MacDermott has a winning pedigree and that could be the difference in the end.
