I fell asleep the last time these two teams played and was shown on Sky. The only thing that kept waking me up was a cow bell that kept being clonked every time more that two passes were strung together.
Product will need to be a lot better on the field to entice the 10k people turning up this time to come back again, or the job will be a waste of marketing time and money.

Charging say a tenner is another matter, however. Might only get 2,000 taking up the offer, but will net 20 grand for starters and more likely be repeat attendees given they're paid summat this time round.

Its a shame to see genuine Fax fans slating another club for trying promote themselves/the game and open up to new fans.

Shocking match. I wish I'd watched Love Island. A stranger switching this on, seeing the poor quality together with an empty stand and 3 sply populated stands, would laugh if told it was "top tier rugby league". Nay, not just rugby league but SUPER league!

If that is the case why don't Fax reduce to a tenner and get 4000 down bringing atmosphere to the game ?

Not sure if any of you on here watch Rugby League Backchat (Journo's from League Weekly/League Express and a freelance) on Freesport on a Thu but they discussed the merits of bottom 4 SL and top 4 teams Championship. Ironically they all agreed that the two who played in last nights game were not adding value to SL and should go. (last nights attendance looked embarrassing and nowhere near the business metrics they rammed down Fax's throat as a fail when Franchise was around) Huddersfield's attendance was poor inthe Challenge cup v Catalan.They also felt that Toronto Tolouse and Leigh were the only ones who would add value to SL. Fax and Fev were dismissed. I also watched the new SL CEO on Sky build up. He can certainly talk the talk! Allegedly£400k salary being paid by the SL clubs for this guy. Seems out of proportion to Whitehaven on public appeal mode; SL attendances at the lower reaches of 2,000 for bottom 4 clubs and Huddersfield giving free tickets away to attract people in.

I listened to that interview on Sky. He rambled on for 10 minutes and basically said nowt! What did come across was he was only interested in SL and he used to work for Everton F.C.

what about the attendance at featherstone for the cup match between leeds and leigh?? 3k for the champions of super league!!
