I am of course in the minority but, I like and rate Sam, wish he was still with us, hopefully I will get to shake his hand on Sunday whatever the outcome.

RM was quoted as saying he was in no rush and wanted to give the lads who were here a chance to show what they could do.

That fits in with a proven quality loan signing while the team settles down to business.

Sound thinking to me and it ticks a number of boxes in good man management, fair play to current squad with options to add should the need arise and the right player comes available.

The number of players that seemingly become available at this time of the season suggests to me that those that get all their business done too soon arent always the smartest. Save a little brass and see what happens.
