IF it remains, then the non twinned clubs should be allowed a higher salary cap than the twinned clubs to keep us competitive... yeah, it smacks of self interest, but sod it, thats what rugby league in this country is built on.

Bet their reasons are nothing to do with young fringe players development though. Swinton only had a squad of 17 before they 'signed' 5 players from wire thus allowing up to 10 wire players. Don't care what they say about the 5. I reckon they are still wire players.

Had a look at the Border Agency website and there is a section headed Frauds ,Tricks and Scams , made me wonder if someone "dobbed the RFL in" .

I was planning to miss all away games at paired clubs. Now after more than 20 years following Keighley I can't bring myself to go to Cougar Park. Looks like one of the few times I'll see my team play this season will be at your place.

I hope you make your feelings known to the Keighley Club, perhaps you should also write in to the League Express, Martyn Sadler who is rarely critical of the RFL has been quite vocal on this Dual Reg farce on twitter these past couple of days.

Keighley were originally one of the clubs along with Us, Leigh and Fev who were adamant they wouldn't go down the DR route, quickly changed their tune now though

Its a disgrace hope they all get thrashed by teams who have not gone down this rout, even fev

As a Haven fan i am enraged at us twinning with ST Helens we are no longer Whitehaven we are now merely Puppets.
We have a squad good enough to aim for mid table but players are going to get fed up at being left out for these players coming in meaning we will lose them to other clubs or the amateur ranks.
DR in its original format worked so why have they changed it ? oh thats right so the rich clubs save money and us poor relatives suffer the consequences.
I will not be going to any games if their is a saint player in a Haven shirt at the cost of a Haven player.
