Not sure how virulent this 'rumour' is but Doro has been let go for what could be described as a gross indiscretion and might make sense why no one at the club has spoken about him...

If that is so the club should let the supporters know he isn't with us anymore. No need to go into details but at least it would stop any rumours. If he is just injured why not let us know? |

Yes, Lannon certainly stood out, but Walmsley is pure quality. He scored tries which nobody else could. So including 2 successful conversions he contributed 20 points which wouldn't have happened if he wasn't playing. So mom for me.
I see Kear has been sacked at Widnes. How's about him being assistant to Grix? ( *cough* )

If we didn't see it ourselves we wouldn't even know Keyes was injured. I'm not sure we have even had an update on him and obviously Doro also got injured in the Saints game and we didn't hear anything about his injury. Obviously there are rumors that both Doro and Pickersgill are both on their way but lets be fair, most of us saw that Doro was out of favor very early in the season so its very unlikely its gross misconduct and will just be pushed that he doesn't have the right attitude very similar to Springer. It will be interesting to see how he goes when he goes to another team in the same way that Springer and king and both performed well after leaving. |

I'd heard the same suggestion that Doro wouldn't play for us again, and nothing to do with being out of favour. As for letting us know, then if this was a disciplinary matter, like any workplace it has to be be dealt with through due process and we might never know why nor be entitled to, data protection and all that.

That's why I said there's no need for details. The fans are a huge part of the club don't forget and although some things will always be kept behind closed doors details such as the availability of players isn't one of them. |

We don't know he has gone for definite yet. There may be things that are being dealt with, which the club may not be able to disclose or even insinuate.
We might all be barking up the wrong tree, but i am sure there are reasons, same with similar examples in the last few seasons. In every workplace there are standards and values that you are expected to adhere to. If allowance is made for some then liklihood is you will lose respect and buy in from the rest of your workforce.
When decisions are made for such reasons then other than rumours and heresay we are unlikely know for certain.

This next comment is complete speculation so could well be 2+2 making 5 . So there’s a good possibility that doro won’t be playing for us again for whatever reason. Just before we signed Fleming he was at a game of ours at home but it never twigged with him being a local lad . Noticed Brandon Douglas at the game on Sunday who we have already signed for next year according to Sheffield, is it a possibility that because aston threw his teddy out of the cot and announced his departure early that an early agreement has been reached, the gamecaller reported a few changes in the championship https://twitter.com/thegamecaller/statu ... Grix mentioned in his post match interview that he wasn’t happy with our starting props getting rolled in the opening 20 and said the same for the Bradford game but then said we haven’t a lot behind them with Maher loaned out and doro disappearing.
Also saw David fifita at the game lol but he was there to see his old mate Kyle wood and keep sammut company lol. |

Nice theory! Douglas was playing for the Eagles on Friday and still seems to be in the starting 17 every week so Id be surprised if he was released early. If he was released early that would help us out and there is no way Aston would want to help us because as we know he is a bitter little man

I agree , swap with doro as a sweetener for the bitter aston or even Maher . Like I say just a speculator . Afterall mick gledhill makes a living from 2+2 =5 theories, I’m doing it for free lol. |

Maizen gone to hunslet on loan. What the fu*k is Gix or the club on. He will leave when another clubs offer him starting line ups. We are Going to see lost of our best players leaving at them end of the season.
