Agree with this. My grandad has been going for 70 years and now has to pay a stupid amount to sit to watch fax. He lives in Bradford so can't just nip across to the stadium weekdays. He doesn't own a PC or have the ability to buy online so as a loyal fax fan he's one to lose out on the new stupid system and pays £17 to watch fax which quite frankly is disgusting, compare it to Fevs prices for OAP's.
I messaged the club and got the usual drivel reply. Quite frankly the club don't help themselves one bit and normally I take what they do with a pinch of salt but that really annoyed me. It's a jolly boys outing. Where all the money has gone from the 2 x top 4 finishes and especially the 1st time when we did well in the play-offs I'll never know.
If you ask me we are treading water and just keeping our heads above water. Our team seems to depend on a player who has come back vastly out of shape and when you are the clubs talisman to do that takes the pee to be honest. I also think we are putting too much emphasis on playing local boys at the expense of results, yes it's good but I don't pay £20 to watch a team of locals in the hope in 3 years we have a great team, people want results and performances now. Besides, any player worth his salt gets snapped up. Crowds are dropping and we have nobody to run the game if Murrell isn't playing and even then he's more of a pivot nowadays.

| To be fair, if I went to a game with my son, my father-in-law and a youngster, we'd pay £39 for pre-bought tickets to stand and £47 to sit. At Featherstone, we'd pay £47 to stand or sit. The concession prices at the Shay could maybe a £ or two less, but equally, a Featherstone supporter could be moaning because he has to pay £10 to take his two sons, which would only be £2 at the Shay!
I don't particularly like the pre-sales thing, but do understand why the club are pushing it (less cash to deal with, and saves money by needing less turnstile operators).
With only one stand open last night though, pay on the day would have been more sensible.

| Last night was awful no matter what spin you put on it - a patched up team that didn't gel , having to sit in the East Stand and it was freezing cold , the real sickner is that we have missed out on a bumper pay day v Hull KR with a crowd of 3-3500 etc - bet thats cost us around £25K.
£20 on the gate whose bright idea was that!!!!
Marshall got it wrong - we'd better beat Toulouse now - im sure we will we all have to believe in the Marshall plan , sing karaoke and sink blue shots in pub LOL
Oldham were by far the better team last night and thoroughly deserved the win - i cant believe there are Fax Fans who think been outplayed by a team from division below us , missing out on the Hull KR game because it helps us achieve our top 4 dream - get a grip!! Wonder what theyd have said had Bradford Bulls done that to us last night??????

| The club just don't seem to think things through at times. I hope we do beat Toulouse, I just can't see it with our lack of attack. Lets not get carried away by the Leigh result, Leigh are crap at the moment, everyone and his dog is beating Leigh. Head says we won't get within 30 points of Toulouse. Yes we beat them there last season but that team on paper was a lot better then this one and players like Murrell are a year older and lets be honest not in the same shape as last year which will effect things as he's our go too man.

| Don't get me wrong I like Murrell but it's annoyed the hell out of me that he's come back in the shape he has, and seems to think it's a joke. This to me worryingly shows he maybe has more influence backroom then he should have. If I was the head coach and a player of his stature and importance came back out of shape I would question his loyalty or commitment to the overall team and to his own individual performances. Then to publicly mock himself on social media and TV about it is quite frankly mocking the fans who pay good money to watch the team and players be the best they can be.
This is still a professional league and you are still a professional sportsman. Whats worse is that he is the teams main man, the leader. His performances this season and kicking have been poor, no coincidence he's out of shape and his levels drop. Yes I know he's winding down his career but he is relied upon to influence the team, probably more then should be required.
Even a fit Murrell isn't the most mobile but at least give yourself a fighting chance. In any job if I came back in poor shape or didn't perform as I could due to restraints I had brought upon myself I would be disciplined. At the moment he's no more then a pivot, yes he talks and directs but at the cost of a player able to get on the end of things like breaks, or get through a break himself. I do feel at the moment he's very Rooneyesque in his contribution, the idea is far more sweet then the reality, and it's a shame as he does make a difference IF fit, at the moment he's not and it shows.

| I knew attendances would drop with this ticketing policy farce. I may have popped down on the spur of the moment last night if prices on the gate were fair.
An urgent review or this policy is required. During the coming summer months, there are so many things a family can be doing on a Sunday. Things change at the last minute, which gives the chance for maybe a trip to the Shay. For a lot of people, that option is now too prohibitively expensive to consider. Only the die-hards are pre-paying, you HAVE to persuade the fairweathers on the day too.

Well, not every dog is beating us - we've won two games so far, both against Batley BULLDOGS. Every man might be beating us, but definitely not their dogs!

You would know this far better than I could, but to me, it seemed like he annihilated us, at 'Fax - and his kicking game was spot on, that day. (apart from the late chip into Hall's hands!) Think yourselves lucky you have your two halves, and not any of ours!
