Really disappointed about this I don't think the game will be played @ Odslum the better option would be the Manchester Regional Arena Capacity 6500 where they will be based in the UK.
I went there in 2016 to watch the Conference Grand Final Att 1270.
All Seater but very shallow for viewing there is a Sports Centre just outside but limited Bar/Catering etc Easy access by Tram

I just don't get this.

Surely if they can't play in Toronto, they'd be better off promoting the game somewhere else in Canada - or even the US.

Maybe if they delay it for a year it will make more financial sense if they are then potentially in super league. It might just be Brighouse Wolves this year guesting at different locations and give them a year to sort out the pitch and infrastructure over in Canada. Nigel's master plan a world super league with an even bigger pay packet for him and his heir apparent son.

Expansion is one thing but the RFL's primary responsibility is for rugby league in Britain.
Canada, the USA or similar World development of rugby league is not part of their remit and should be addressed by their own governing bodies if they have one.

The RFL is beyond defending or reason. They should be promoting and governing the game and in my opinion are doing exactly the opposite. Shame on them.

I may be a little off subject;
If there is a salary cap for players who put their bodies at risk when they play, surely Mr Wood on his reported salary of over £300,000 should also be capped. A Maximum of £100,000 springs to mind.

If Mr Wood were ever to put his body on the line again it would have to be a long one.
