Quote: Bull Mania "I too thought Halifax played some good rugby, some excellent lines were ran by the dummy runners. The HB had the option of an inside runner, a flat ball or passing it around the back. The problem was the execution. If some of those passes had have stuck (on another day all would have stuck), Fax would have had 3 or 4 more tries.'"
Yep and more options for the attack mean more questions for the defence which has been lacking.
We have looked slow getting the pass away from dummy half in a lot of games and playing too much flat pass close to the line, it leaves no margin for error which has led to a few interceptions and contributed to the knock on problem, by the time the receiver has got the ball he has either slightly overrun it and puts it down having to stretch back or has little control with a loose carry and puts it down when he gets clattered by the defensive line being in his face due to our slowness.
When Andy O'Brien had a run with us you could tell the difference, much quicker and better because of it.
Young Brandon Moore is improving all the time and will be a good one for us as he gains experience.
