I agree, he did play well but to say he was MoM is a bit much. He carried the ball well, did his defensive work too.
All 17 contributed in all areas. For me, the yards that Salty made, especially in second half, was absolutely priceless.

| While i agree that Salty and others made some hard yards, so did Fairbank. Kaye was always probing from Dummy and making ground. On top of that they both must have been near the top of the tackle count. It was a team effort and at least a dozen could be in the top three. It was the defence that won this game which was why i chose them as my top two. Murrell kept them moving and was the pivot that moved us around as well as some good D. Rugby League may be about tries but you have to make sure the opposition score less than you. Hopefully after this result we will have more confidence and can sort out our attack in opposition 20. I think it was into last quarter before we got back to back sets.We have to learn to build pressure . All in all a decent day , more to come?

| Let's not forget our most consistent performer Adam Tangata, immense as always.
Special mention to Elliott Morris, energy and enthusiasm and he looks like he can cut it. Ryan Boyle played like a real pro, just got on with it, and did the hard yards. Luke has to work on his fitness to get back in this team for me.
Energy is infectious and I think Adam O'Brien has shown a lot of people the light, a kick up the arris so to speak.
I would also say Gaz Moores best game for us, where have you been Gaz? Welcome back to Fax.
Now lets.get a Hunslet win and get some cup cash flowing, we need it, and the exposure.
Then we can give Hull KR a real headache, make em work for everything, and draw some confidence that when we fire we can compete with anyone in this league.
Final note, to me we now have to embrace DR and our Academy players, the lads that have come in recently have improved us gradually, the senior 1st teamers need to perform and be kept on their toes.

Many excellent performances. One gripe, stop the 30 yard passes in front of our own posts..not aware of the issues with Moore but hopefully they're now history.

| I Couldn't make the game, the demands of shift work. Do you think the Salford players made the difference between winning and loosing, or would we have managed a win with some of our reserve grade players filling the gaps and playing?

| Very good question was thinking same after match. My honest assessment is we would have won anyway particularly if AOB was available. The second rower had a good but not contest changing game and the others were reasonable but no better than AOB/Worrincy.

| Will Sharp - never dropped a thing and ran it hard all game long.
Salty - just runs his socks off and works hard.
Ryan Boyle - give the guy credit he was poor last year when he came but now he is a real battering ram and stuck it too them all game long.
Credit to Gaz Moore, Jacob Fairbank and Simon Grix too keep it going lads especially Gaz Moore you know you can do it just do it week in week out.
