Finally confirmed and good news.
Both will add to the squad, Smeaton has bags of experience and before his horrific injury at Rovers was one of the top in the championship.
Bennion is less well known to us but not to RM who rated him before he went to Aus and he will now be better for the experience and for another year developing physically.
Neck on the line I predict a big year for him when he gets his chance.

The 2 new signings don't exactly set my pulse racing ,I feel other clubs have signed better,it's obvious that quality players are not around or available at the moment,it's easy to applaud RM recent squad additions but we will see what happens in the coming games I would like us to play a couple of SL teams in friendlies we can learn nothing from playing Keighley,how about Leeds or one of the Hull teams.

This is what all coaches say every year. Maybe someone should tell Mr Rowley.
As for "BIG DEREK" plugging the £250k, that sounds like a sustainable business right there. Your club needs to learn from its past recent history and build accordingly, instead your chairman sounds off talking bollox all the time and then wonders why he is mocked by the rugby league community.
You could go unbeaten all year and then flop in the 8's again. It's the flop you will be remembered for and ridiculed.......again
