Well I'd say that it was a case of rubbish pitch, rubbish ref, a lot of poor options and lack of composure and maybe a bit of bad luck.
The Fairbanks break was just unlucky that he lost his feet but then all we needed to do was move the ball through hands and we would have scored. Ambler and Moore threw out some shocking passes that didn't help us at all.
In terms of breaking them down we just seemed clueless with Murrells's kicks being poor, even the try was lucky as nearly everybody in the South stand had groaned until the mistake.
On a positive note the tackling was again solid on the whole and Fev will wake up tomorrow with quite a few bruises and unfortunately 2 points.

Well I was listening to the game on the way home from Donny , and it was as I have said recently , you have NO idea in attack , rarely threaten the line , but you have a decent Defence , its not a case of what RM wants , its a case of what he gets .I did expect a Fax win though , on the bright side I WON a free meal in the Wren from my mucker Halifaxjohn and my Fantasy League team seem to have done well today .It is early days yet though .Charles .

Congrats on your emphatic win both on and off the field Charlie. What has happened at Donny from what you saw today? They haven't won a game yet and was wondering if they are lacking their Dual reg players at the moment or?

Believe it or not Leigh played very average at times today , yet we scored some very good long range tries , im always impressed with our Left flank of Tom Armstrong and Liam Kay , Brierley was his usual tormenting self , and our pack bossed theirs , we welcomed back Tom Spencer for his first game and Fui Fui was missing , but add Hock to this pack and we will be good .

Donny were very average , never gave up and only had one DR on the pitch , I think on this form they will struggle this season , still its early days , I think my Fax Fantasy Team did well today .

Everyone can comment on a team based on lack of tries but that never tells the whole story. Today we took some poor decisions especially Murrell but we should of scored more with a little luck. Last week I would have said that Fev didn't have that much improvement in them. On the face of it it looks like the DR additions have made a significant difference and maybe Bulls got lucky playing them last week. Is there some reason why Halifax are not using their DR or is there some type of principle involved.

We should have won. We didn't need DR players today. Just better decisions/plays from our own team. On another day, we'd have won comfortably.

I have said this on many occasions ,The Rubbish I post is just as good as the Rubbish everyone else posts ,including YOU Ifcnige, I'm not a Platt I'm a Caroli the Prats lived 4 doors down from me I have seen Fax once this season agreed but I can see how many tries you have scored ,Stevie Wonder can see that,I admit my posts are sometimes wind ups , but I can be serious and try to give an unbiased opinion just because it doesn't tally with yours,that how an Austrian painter and decorater started.

I have many friends on this Message Board ,and like Fax I watched them around 6 times last season , a couple were away games and I don't mean at the LSV, I was at the Donny for your play off game however I need to justify my opinions to YOU ,and I wont resort to name calling or personal insults ,l better than that ,if you don't like my opinions TOUGH that's life.

We look nowhere near the class we had back in 2010 and we haven't replaced those players from that period with like for like or better. Branighan, Black, Royston, Penky, Beswick - all dangerous playmakers.

Once again we have a team that cannot beat top four sides. We've lost AT HOME AGAIN today against a club that's financially on it 'arris and who came to us on the back of a mauling by the Bulls. I'm afraid right now that a top four spot is way out of our capabilities.

It's frustrating but we're in a league now that has gotten even stronger - we must do the same. It's not easy with the financial pressures but others are doing it. Sheffield - one example. How the hell do they do it? They haven't even got a home!!
