Reading some of the tributes in the Courier reminded me of Saturday nights in the Golden Lion, Highroad Well.
Rugby then was always played on a Saturday and I remember many nights after the game there would be a few Fax players in there. The thing that has always stuck in my mind is that they would always be wearing club blazers with that beautiful Halifax badge on breast pocket.
