No, the rugby club was taken over with its assets. A new "Legal"company was formed but was still classed as the original club. When a new board comes in it doesnt mean its a new club.
Your shower of SHTT disappeared legally and had no assets to take over- i.e Ground, Players Contracts, Staff etc. There was no continuation of the old club in any form.

Funny you say that, as the FA consider FCHT a continuation of HTFC, but yet don't with the like of Chester and Darlington. The rugby board re-formed the club. If you have tiered cake and the top tiers are all knocked off, when you add the ne layers it isn't the same cake.

And you are correct, but the new club is a continuation club as previously mentioned, hence why they were allowed into the FA Cup without having to follow the three year rule for new clubs, a la Chester.
