It was not a great spectacle last night on a heavy pitch and first competitive game up for both teams although Sheffield tired second half, the feeling around me was that if this was later in the season Sheffield would have won, they were more creative with the ball although fell away second half and struggled to get yardage mostly down to some good Fax defence which was a pleasing part of the game for me. We are not creating enough for me the forwards are doing their part but it was up and smash 'em stuff, we still need a stand off and centre who passes!

Meaning they were rusty and faded second half as lack of match practice finally told, the point is they CREATED more than we did with the ball in hand it was as KH says our pack that won it, we battered them then held firm in defence. How many times did we actually look like getting over their line yet we had loads of possession in their 20 especially in that second half. Have you forgotten how many line breaks they made, their full back and wingers looked dangerous?
But its our first 'proper' game against the current Champions so I am happy its a good result!
