Quote: Faxhali "I'm affraid i was informed by Mike Reilly a while ago on here that due to The Halifac Courier being their Media Partner that all news would be on there first as was part of the deal, Whether this is still the same now with it being a weekly paper i dont know.'"

That was my understanding too but surely, as you say, with the Courier now being a weekly edition that agreement should have been renegotiated.

Thanks for those who attended the meeting last night and sorry about the late communication on this occasion but as soon as we heard Karl could make the meeting it went on here ,club website and on Facebook. One of the reasons behind trying to recruit new members and people to join the Committee is to try and address this and other things we are trying to do but we just do not have enough people to do everything. We are all volunteers and we would love to do more that will benifit the Club but with the best will in the world unfortunatly we are just unable to do more without a little bit more help. To start we could all try to persuade our friends/ family to either join the Trust or put your name on the shirt as this will help enormously and try to help out or contribute to any other functions we may be organising. We are not asking anyone to contribute anything they cannot afford so if money is tight can you help in other ways?
I have been amazed at our fans these last couple of years as to raise £45,000 in two years is phenominal but this year two teams will cost more and we have to do our best and back the Club in supporting youth in our Club. It`s not just our Trust Committee that are astounded at what Fax fans have achieved these last two years either last week we had a call from a fundraising supporter of a Super League club wondering how the heck so few fans can raise so much money .Then yesterday a message from a supporter at Penrith Panthers asking for info` re ` Trust eg ideals , and fundraising. There is an easy answer really," we have the best supporters" who always dig deep but now we arn`t just asking for money we need help with other things too.

As you know Linda I am willing to help even if I dont live in the UK. This likely limits much of what I can do but if there is anything I can help you or anybody at the Trust or club with then you know where I am. We have discussed recently on Facebook a few things. Wish I could be of more help

I appreciate not everybody can or wants to attend meetings of the Trust but it would be great to get more fans to our meetings especially when we have players, coaches and members of the Board attending.
My messag to fans is if you can afford it get your name on the shirt as the £25 will go towards the target for next years U19s and U23s via the Trust.

I ditto what was said above. I spent £25 a couple of weeks ago. I am not sure if I am supposed to receive a membership card to the trust or if they just have a lust of names?

I will send an email to the club to find out.

When I spoke to Mike recently, he is looking at ideas and happy to listen to ideas on how to communicate with the none-forum user / none-Social networker.

The Courier once a week paper is a HUGE issue for both HRLFC and Halifax Town I suspect.

If every Fax fan put £1 into a Fax Builder bucket at each home game they went to, that would be at least £15k.

Two years ago when we first launched Faxbuilder this is just one of several ideas that people came up with and we had people who pledged to pop their pledge pound in at every match. We promised to those who pledged we would collect them at every match and those people are still popping in their pledge money as it`s ideal for those who don`t want to attend functions and events.
Times are difficult but you are so right if you could just pop a pound in every match the differance made to the Club would be immense.

Yep that's right. I pledged and paid at all games and under 23's as well. I have paid my £25 and I will continue with my quid a game.
