The facts of the matter are, he was told something and chose to put it on here, I was also told 3 weeks ago about Penky going to Leigh, I heard it from a good friend who is in no way connected with Halifax RLFC or supports/sponsors them. I chose to pass this info around to mates who follow RL via text, I was questioned about the integrity of the "rumour" but I sit here with a smile on my face safe in the knowledge that my informant was correct, whether anyone at Halifax RLFC knew about it, or even denied knowing it i couldn't care less TBH, 'cos I wouldn't expect a professional organisation to behave that way, similarly to the post I made a few days ago about players' salaries coming into the public domain.
What I will say is, one particular poster who doesn't get to too many games anymore asked me recently to keep him up to date with any rumours of signings 'cos in his words i was "spot on to date" and that I will 'cos we all love a bit of gossip and I won't be revealing my sources of info on here either ( remember Chris i questioned you about this on here ? )

Cheers for the support Col, think we can all get a little red eyes on here at times, although there were times it did feel very personal which I didn't appreciate!! Anyway onwards on upwards, forgotten now in my eyes as I feel slightly vindicated with todays news!!
