Quote: Nat (Rugby_Aholic) "I don't see why anyone would want to watch more years of Championship rugby. Win or Loose the games mean nothing, there is no sense of achievement. The Grand Final was a great day out and I was on a high for a few weeks after but then it was just back to zero, all reset and go again.
As long as there is nothing to play for I will not be as interested in the games as I once was. This off-season I even thought twice about getting a season ticket. Several of my friends don't go to games any more, most of them supporters since they were born. I am slowly loosing interest in the club, even two years ago this would have been unthinkable for me. I have even started going to the odd Giants game. All this through no fault of the club, the on field product is better than it has been in years. It is just when I am at games I find my self struggling to get exited about a win and I am careless about a loss. The exceptions are games like the Fev NRC game, where the game itself provides the excitement, but those games are few and far between.
Whilst I agree with everyone's comments about our survivability in SL, I would rather the club try and fail than slowly die and become just another Championship club playing in front of 500 fans.'"
With friends like you who needs enemies ?
