| What was the score and attendance? Not seen much moaning on the Salford site, so they must have played better than they did against Leigh.

6-16 at one point, finished 46-16 to Salford in the end
Attendance around 2,000 and problems at the ticket office apparently

| I didnt go today but have been told we matched them in the first half but they out classed us in the second.
Im sure Harrison will find some positives and somethings that need work. I'd much rather us be playing strong super league sides than championship sides in pre season, todays result will do the players good as they will hopefully know just how good they need to be to challenge this season. Also good to see Tyrer grabbing another couple, I can see him grabbing 20 tries this season.

I was very underwhelmed with the stadium (I was surprised at how small it was, I dont know what the capacity is). I paid my £5.50 for parking, and printed off my ticket, which gave me an allotted parking space. There are no signposts to get to the ground, and I drove past the turning, having to do a u turn to get back. The entrance to the ground was by make-shift road, which was full of mud and puddles. The car park was no better, it is completely un-finished and was full of mud and puddles (I think they should hold off charging exhorbatant rates until its actually completed). There were substantial queues at the windows to buy your ticket and they didnt go down quickly at all. It was taking between 2-3 minutes per transaction, which given that it is "cash only" was a bit ridiculous. How long does it take to hand over £20 and get your ticket and change. When I arrived at the window, it was clear why it was taking so long. Each transaction has to be entered onto a computer, then the user waits for the results and asks for the cash. Then they print each ticket. Then you go to the turnstile where there is another person who scans your ticket. What on earth happened to pay on the gate??????
There is one way fans can avoid this stupidity, which is by pre-purchasing their tickets and paying an exhorbitant Booking Fee

pretty much sums up my feelings too. However i was more concerned with the
way the game went.quite pleased at half time although salford ended the half
on top.second half was dreadful, cant think of a single positive.will be very interested to read KH views.

Personally I think playing a Championship side too in pre season will benefit clubs & teams can learn from this & you'll see that when you play Leigh on monday
