I think someone said it was something to with where everyone finished at the knockout stages.

At the Team/Coach presentation to fans night it was revealed that the European Cup will be played on the 1st weekend of June (Extra Bank Holiday weekend too) with Fax due to play the 4th in the French league or Toulouse if they finish o/s top 4 as they have a place promised.

As it stands now it would be Carcassonne but there are 14 games left so there is a lot to play for. Last weekend of league fixtures is 21/22 April according to French RL site www.ffr13.fr and top of table at moment is:-

Lezignan 19
Avignon 16
Toulouse 16
Carcassonne 14
St Esteve 11
Villeneuve 11
Limoux 11
PIA 10
Montpellier 10
