Think your wide of the mark here mate. Batley have no right to announce that Handforth has signed for any club, only that he has left Batley. The Halifax club gave assurances to Batley that they would not destabilise Batleys season by announcing the capture of KH for next season and i believe that they stuck to this agreement until Batleys season ended. I believe also that you will find that GFB is correct. You might need to look closer to home.......the world equally does not revolve around Batley either.

batley only had the right to say he had left,very poor on their part.good signing who will direct us around the field well but do hope we keep danny jones as he has got better as the season has gone on and always gives his all whether its going well or not.

Handforth should be a great signing for Fax, we have been short of a leader at scrum half for a while now.
Can't see KH only playing him from the bench for half a game as Calland did with Penky,Beswick and Black previously.
Will Danny Jones be able to build a partnership with Handforth if he signs? He's strggled with Blacky this past season.
Looks like it will be a very interesting off season with who signs and who we let go.

Well I imagine that all your players are aware of the way Karl is pressurising players from other clubs to sign for Fax, so if they do all sign quite a number of your present squad know they won't be playing much next year.

Perhaps that is why some of them are talking to other teams?

The players will know in a lot of instances who will be offered new contracts and then its up to them whether they sign or decide to speak to other clubs - but even if there are not retained they are in affect playing for contracts elsewhere so like Halifax John states all players should be playing to the best of their ability.

Its just a bad time of year to be sorting contracts for any club especially when your season is not dead but thats just the way it is.

Karl will know who he wants and I am sure he will be using whatever means to sell the positive package that is Halifax RLFC to any new recruits. If that is pressure then so be it - at the end of the day players can say no thanks !!!!
