Been nearly a week now and we are still waiting. Maybe the feedback was spot on and the club didnt have any grounds for moaning about the decision? Hopefully we will find out this week?

I hate to keep saying this but I have no doubt they picked us up on things but how on earth do we know wether we were better than Wakey or not if Wakey don`t produce theirs.

We never will but if we at least release the RFL`s findings on our club then we can at least see where our bid fell down. After making all the who ha after the decision if we then dont release ours i think it would be fair to assume that our bid had a lot of holes in it. It also goes a long way to how these protests are going to be seen by people from other clubs.

The problem is Greg is that Fax were put in a no win situation by the RFL , unfortunatly they didn't see it coming and are now seeing the results of being honest , unfortunatley in RL , honesty doesn't pay

our bid fell down because, Crusaders pulled out at the last minute and the RLF couldnt be d to sit down and look at the bids again and chose the easiest option that would cause the least uproar

Every club apart from the ones who were given an A rateing will be able to have holes punched into it and also it isn`t just about why or why not we did not get the franchise. It`s about the Championship clubs as a whole , Huddersfield have the luxury of being able to put their season tickets on sale next week.
The Championship Clubs cannot do that as some of them eg Hunslet do not even know wether they will be relegated or not. We don`t even know how many teams will be in our league yet either , the Championship clubs are just used as an aside I couldn`t care less wether our Club releases our bid or not.
Because it is irelivant without seeing the others to compare.

I am starting to think that Fax have made an absolute blooper here, being so highly critical in the aftermath of the announcement. Yes, we all know the franchise system is ridiculous, but Fax really had to back up their scathing comments to get any credit out of this and the continued silence is doing them no favours.

I know that people have been on holiday and also unwell so maybe thats why theres been a delay. Also cringed again when i saw the name of this group printed in the trade papers, im not sure its going to paint Fax fans in a good light.

Things is nobody can say if we deserved to be in or not without looking at ALL the applicants not just Halifax and Wakefield. The thing is if we had a more open transparent viewpoint than I would accept it better than all this behind closed doors business just like the RFL have been acting with Crusaders since the beginning in exactly the same way. I feel strongly that Wakefield should not be in just like any club who have been in administration within the past 3 years. These clubs have lied and cheated people out of money and get a reward of 3 more years in SL. They should all face automatic relgation-but that would have upset the RFL expand at any cost view.

The meeting last night which was far better attended than expected with reps` of Super League and other Championship clubs in attendance have now actually "formed a group" who will name themselves and facilitate a move forward.
The meeting was origionally called as fans from mostly our club but other Championship Clubs as well were contacting the Trust to ask what we intended to do about the failed bid and the RFL in general.
The fans that were contacting us were wanting to vent their anger at the RFL some were considering a variety of ideas and were talking of showing their displeasure at the RFL by eg sitting on pitches etc` and so the Trust decided to have the meeting to organise a group that would ensure that all protests would be done in such a manner as not to bring the Club into disrepute.This was made quite clear at the meeting and everyone there was in full agreement we had noone makeing any suggestions that were OTT in fact quite the opposite . The fans were a credit to their Club as their concerns were not just about our lack of geting the Bid but a concern around other clubs as well. They even had concerns over the pulling of funding of our scholership last year which means forcing our youngsters to go to such as Bradford.
All these issues are undermining Championship clubs so they never will be able to compete in any way with Clubs that are in Super League when the next Franchises are handed out.
Everyone at the meeting was there last night in a totally unselfish way they were there because they care about Rugby League and to tell you the truth I was very proud of the way they spoke and the ideas put forward.
I was also more than pleased to see Pete (Starbug ) there from Leigh as I respect his opinions more than anyone I know regarding our game and his contribution to the meeting was fantastic, thank you Steve.
We will hear more of plans as time goes on but I can assure everyone that at the meeting last night there was noone there wanting to put our Club in a "bad light" in fact as I fully expected quite the opposite .They just want a fair deal for all clubs in all leagues nothing more nothing less they were a credit to their respective clubs

They ought to just be honest, good or bad, warts and all.
If its a worry to them that it makes the BOD's look bad, i wouldn't worry, i am guessing we all know our short falls as a club anyway. And i dont think we would blame the BOD's for not getting into SL. Unless there is something that neither party would like us to know??? I'm not saying we have a right to know, but i agree with Bubba, kicking up a stink and then saying nothing can backfire.
