As a Leigh fan I'd like to echo the above sentiment - the game is rightly being hailed as one of if not the best NR finals - and for that you need two teams who are playing top drawer stuff. A big success for 'lower' tier RL was that game yesterday.

Came out of the ground and about 40 'Fax fans were waiting to shake hands and say good game, well done. Really really brilliant sportsmanship, you're fans are a credit to you, was talking in 'spoons to your mods Mam too, really nice lady.

Hope you get to the Grand Final so we can have another day like yesterday.

The winner yesterday was RL, the fans from both sides went with full intentions of enjoying the day, and from the moment we got off our coach and started walking down the prom, the friendly banter started, shook hands with loads of Fax fans, stood at the bar and in the pub chatting with several, the game was a cracker and could have gone either way right up until the end, on the way out your fans where waving to us from their coaches, and several were stood on the corner of the car park shaking hands and saying well done as we left.

Well done to everyone associated with Halifax (and Leigh) you did RL proud.

A great weekend out in Blackpool, sharing beers with Fax fans and having a good chinwag .

Hope you guys finish in the top 2 and win your first playoff game to go straight to the final. Then Fax will battle hard to meet you there for another top day out! Best two teams in the league (in terms of excitement, quality of rugby and entertainment etc - subjective opinion I know...but Im sure an opinion shared by many), best two sets of fans by a country mile, and the best game at any level that I've seen for a long long time. I can't actually wait to watch it back on Sky haha!

Was a great atmosphere, good craic around the town, from just a passing word in Coral Island or a chat in Spoons with opposition supporters, and even a bunch of saints fans in town for the darts wishing us well!

I was speaking to those Saints fans going to the darts in spoons too mate! Really good laugh in there yesterday afternoon.

They wern looking for a pub by any chance were they? One of them was probably me if they were.

Cracking weekend, good rugby and good banter with the Leigh fans long in to Sunday night. Lets hope we get to do it all again in the Grand Final.

I got a great video of the Manchester pub before the game.. Every single person in there chanting "are you watching featherstone"... haha

Despite us losing I just want to say what a fantastic day it was I loved meeting every Leigh fan before and after the game I am prouder than ever to be a fax fan after yesterday because of how our fans where and the great effort by the team in such a fantastic game. Well done Leigh and your fans are also a great credit to the club

We were on the bus that stayed behind waiting for stragglers (another story altogether Neil and Javid !!), and we watched every coach leave. Congrats and acknowledgement was shown to all Leigh supporters leaving and they returned the compliment (except 1 Leigh fan that was obviously hungry, as he was gesturing eating a hotdog I think) .
Well done to both sets of fans for a wonderful, friendly, fun day out. Couldn't do anything about the weather, but that's British summer seaside weather for you, that was the only dampener on the day. Even though we lost the result, we didn't lose the game. Both teams did themselves proud and were a fine advertisement for Championship Rugby.
Super League and it's extra money doesn't necessarily mean extra entertainment. Fantastic day out for all, well done players and supporters of both sides

Aye we sang it just after kick off as well. To be honest I thought the acoustics weren't great at Blackpool Stadium as I rarely heard Leigh sing but on the replay on tele it was clearly loud as fook in your end as well. Just thought it was a point worth making.
