gingdong - I wonder why you have been 'branded' as you say you have? Maybe it's because a section of YOUR clubs fans' seriously assaulted a fan of MY club. These people have tarnished the Featherstone Rovers name and I shall never 'get over' this. I feel physically sick when I think about the events that took place that day.

I will go to every game except when we play your lot at Post Office Road. I don't care if people tell me I'm not a true fan or whatever. It's my choice and I'm happy with it.

He is bang on, there are elements in all fans, but having sat in the stand for the last game, I have to say in every single ground I have been in (and that is just about every single one) I have never heard it as bad as at Featherstone.

That doesnt put me off, I am a bloke who has been around the block a few times, but it does put me off bringing my granddaughter. I am not naieve and she has heard it at other games, but I would not subject her to the Fev version of language.

But i'll be there.

Let's not forget that the idiots are a minority. Fev have some great supporters.

I would suggest, however, that the best thing that could happen to "build the bridge" between the clubs would be for those protecting the identity of the thugs to tell the police what they know.

No you dont except you have a problem. Your fans are still aggresive and anti Fax as can be seen on your forum. There are some numpties at Fax and we know that. But they havent put somebody in a Hospital fighting for his life. Also a number of Fev fans are aggressive not just the odd one. It sums it up when fans of a number of Championship Clubs say they think twice about going to Fev-not just Halifax fans. You lot have been branding Halifax as aggressive since the Stand was on fire and trying to blame Fax fans for being aggresive-when often its the other way round. To be honest Fev can go and do one and take the fans with them as what I read on their Forum in the past couple of days angers me. I had a chat with Mark Campbell, the Featherstone Chairman, on Friday night at the Exiles game. He came straight over asking about David Singer and every time I see him he asks me how he is doing. Mark said he would like to offer his executive box if David wanted to go to the game on Thursday with his family. I know a lot of people over at Fev and they always enquire about David.

However, the burden of proof lies with the CJS to prove guilt, No-one has to prove their innocence! and there lies the problem, while ever this country has the fundamental notion that a man is innocent until proven guilty.

Bang on mate! I dont give a monkeys about the banter and the talk, its the assault that gets me. Get the idiot/s arrested and imprisoned and the crowds will come back when Fev play Fax. Someone is protecting them and they should be ashamed of themselves. We have had good banter with Fev fans for decades and our club just like theirs has a few idiots that need bringing into line.

I also think the police know who it is but without the Crown prosecution service agreeing to prosecute nothing can be done, I know the man who was attacked on water lane 2 years ago who suffered brain damage as a result, the police know exactly who did it and arrested him, Again due to the CPS they basically said it was unlikly to get a custodial sentence and so the CPS dropped it. Garys life has never been the same but the scumbag allowed to carry on with life. Unfortunalty in life these things happen. I am sure David would not want Fans of both clubs at each others throats especially when non doubt the good fans of fev, had nothing to do with it.

I'm sure, nae positive, we have a group of Fax fans at the back of the South Stand who have constantly been sighted for throwing things, being racist and in one case trying to start something with Widnes fans in the car park who come to 'bigger' games yet Halifax have done f**k all about it and they still go. I literally cannot believe that Fax fans are still wound up with the ENTIRE Fev Club because some ed yobs beat up a Fax fan and a few more local yobs are hiding his identity, non of which probably go to the games anyway.

By not going to the Semi you aren't helping your own Club both financially and in terms of vital support to get us into a Final. Reaching a Final should be one of the best moment you can get as a sports fan and most of you lot are going to miss it based on very little.
