Beswick - Showed his class, kept us going forward.
Worrincy - Took on a lot of work, as did all outside backs.
Nash - Good game, upped his workrate.
Tommy Goulden pushed them hard for his first half performance, gave us lots of yards.
A good team performance last night especially in defence.

Halifax with a defence structure...and doesnt it suddenly look so easy to defend your line without fearing the worst!
No one outstanding player to me but many getting high scores
Miles 8/10 looked far better running close to the pass.
white 6/10
Nash 7/10 improved performance but needs more
Patterson7/10
Worry 8/10
Black 7/10 improvement..now if we can get him going for the gap himself again
Jones 8/10...you get a good solid performer
Gannon 8/10
Beswick 9/10 ...Ever thought about him for the captaincy ...very calm player who to me sets standards by example. ie someone who you can get on the field to deliver a game plan...ie our Kevin Sinfield (penky can be brilliant but totally off the cuff)
Aizue 8/10
Smith 6/10 lot of experience but the position to bring in Chandler ...when ready
Bannister 9/10
Barlow 6/10
New lad 8/10 yes looks promising
Fairbank 9/10 clearly has everready batteries in him!

Fairbank and Bannister were outstanding in defence. Our game plan of the backs taking at least 3 scoots a set left the forwards with energy to defend, great stuff.

Totally agree. beswick should be our leader, imagine what Penky would be like without having to worry about arguing with refs. |
