Back on topic its practically useless to compare SL teams to Championship teams as it isn't relative. Who's to say Widnes would have done better than Cas or Salford had they been let up back in 2008.
Would several thousand Fax fans REALLY come back to watch Fax if we went up? Would the same be said if Widnes went up? Its proved that it hasn't happened with Salford/Crusaders/Cas.
If you want an argument against licensing, look at Hull KR, they came straight up through P&R and look at them now. |

Put it this way - the franchise system causes more upset amongst fans than P&R did. But it's not fans who are in the driving seat is it? It's a small cabal of elitist Chairmen and a few officials at the governing body and they all rotate around BskyB like the planets around the sun.

In that story rich it also says it is being looked at by the council, they have pushed the date back and still nothing concrete is there. Bye Bye SL in that area, wakey and cas down and can fight amongst themselves in 3 years time if either of them have a stadium by then.

well, i can only speak for widnes but our previous stint in superleague indicates that several thousand fans would come back. they did the last time.
