Great player that he is, Mark is injury prone and to be honest we have shown that we can do without if need be. Mark has never let us down on the field. His downfall is his injuries. I suspect that is a big chunk of cash saved when you see that Branighan, Royston, Gleeson, Gene are gone.

Brilliant signing for Barrow, and good luck to him. But I have to say I'd be very suprised if he'd be ready for the start of the season. Least Beswick can play in his preferred position now.
