Basically he was sidelined most of the season and only came in towards the end when we had many injuries, Its a good job we did have injuries too becuase when he came back he was awesome IMO.

He started badly and knocked the ball on too many times, However he was stepping down to Championship and with it the standards of pass/play etc also drop, should have given him more time to adjust. I for one hope he is back next season.

I Think Ostick as a lot of potential and I am very excited by Josh Barlow and will be delighted to see his brother Sam sign a new contract too.

I think Ostick was under a lot of pressure/guilt last year which affected him understandably. I do feel he has potential to do well bu he is young and has a lot to learn from people like Frank & Jim. Guys like Ostick and Josh Barlow are more for the future than making a big impact next season. Worrincy for example was one who was not an instant success. I am more than willing to let Matt Calland and Martin Hall shape these young guys into reaching the potential they possess. Some will fail but others like ROb and Miles will succeed.

I think he did but Shad Royston caught it before it hit the floor, Mick Potter spotted shads cat like reflexes and offered him a £40,000 a year deal at Bratfud.

Back to Ostick, he does well going forward, makes the yards and runs with plenty of conviction. His defence however is woeful, he goes looking for the big hits far too often and is positionally naive. Working with the likes of Gannon should help with this. At the end of the day though, he is a young British player.

Slightly away form Ostick, but has Bannister re-signed or is he still under contract? Apologies if this has been mentioned elsewhere.
