| Hunslet played tremendously and if we showed 1/10th of their effort, passion, urgency and desire, we would have won that game. They came out and wanted it from the word go, whilst we went through the motions thinking rather arrogantly we didn't have to really play to get the result.
Despite their age, the March brothers and Chapman are extremely useful players and we gave them far too much time. You could tell their experience as well, time wasting at every opportunity. When we drew level we showed our inexperience by taking the kick quickly. Knighty's time taken at conversions was OTT but within the rules. The time all adds up, especially when it comes to forming scrums. When we were behind we took an eternity to form scrums bar Bowman: When Hunslet went behind, as soon as Frankie knocked on, even though they were out on their feet, they sprinted to form the scrum like their lives depended on it.
Congratulations Hunslet on a much deserved victory and the best of luck in the rest of the competition.
