Bit fishy isn't it., these deals may well be going through. But one of Matt James issues was that he didn't want to travel far, and Barra' isn't exactly down the road.

Fair play to Barra' though if they've pulled these signings off, they'll be very tough to be beat if so.

James is racking some clubs up for such a young bloke. No doubting his ability on the pitch, it's getting him on it that's the problem.

It's been announced tonight that Matt James has signed a 2 year deal at Barrow, and that Jermaine Mcgillvary has signed on loan for the season from Huddersfield, 2 good additions to what was already a very strong squad.

Matt James is a real quality player, just hope he stays injury free.

Yeah he seemed to pick up a few injury's last season, fingers crossed he's over them now.

Our slump in form was down to him being injured IMO.

Never rated him anyway, bit of a soft touch and often goes missing in games. Injury prone. May do well at a lesser club.
