remember when we got to Wembley, Im sure the stadium capacity was cut as they thought that us northeners were larger & therefore took up more room than our round ball friends!

Them seats are as old as Stanley Gene and they fall apart with impact.

I am glad as I saw how those seats had been stored and they had been chucked around under the stand and not really looked after by the stadium people so no surprises really.

Allegedly the original seats were purchased by the shay consortium ,it would have cost £36k to install these seats with no guarantee,the new seats are coting £56k including installation with a guarantee seems to be quite a financially sensible option

Makes you wonder if the original seats weren't up to spec in the first place.
Cheap and nasty ones.
Wouldn't surprise having seen other aspects of the procurement process on that stand.

Yes, just a few. No-one to be seen working in the seating area as of now. Things definitely seem to have slowed down, if not stopped.

Can the club enlighten us as to whether or not the seats in situ are from the old batch or new ones recently delivered? If they are the old seats, is it known how quickly new ones can be delivered and installed?

The interior of the stand, as shown on the Flickr pictures put on the Club website today, is looking good, but is a late December/January finish of the construction works still practicable?

the seats that are being fitted are the new ones do not worry. the old ones were replaced over a month ago now
