You've just failed. Stick to the colouring in. You're obviously out of your depth with the written word.
Go on then, enlighten me. I dont get what you are saying. To quote one site

"The "could of/ would of/ should of" error results from the failure of the writer to realise that they've been hearing a spoken contraction using "'ve" for "have", i.e., "could've/ would've/ should've" , and copying the mistake they've seen in print, as parroted by yet another unwitting soul"

My only point is that a student at a University shouldn't make this basic an error.

But perhaps the level of student these days. icon_biggrin.gif

Quote: RuncornViking "I'm a little confused with your yorkshire speak a little bit.

By inserting the word won in inverted commas, like so, "won", you are inferring that we did not win it and my previous statement is somewhat dubious. I can check the dvd again but i'm prettttty sure we did win it.

Hang on a minute, you boys won it didn't you. My mistake.'"

If you can't understand what I'm inferring in plain English and have to retype everything just to make sure, you're quite clearly a dumbass.

No, we didn't win it and next season neither will you. Which was my point. Sorry if you found that over complicated. Should I use more smilies next time? Would that make statements more palatable for your age range?

I agree with you Bob. I think you misunderstood my post.

Quote: RuncornViking "yep much better cheers.

"A country mile" better infact.

Infact on a scale of one to ten which I will now use to judge exactly how better that is for me, I would give it probably give it 42.

Which also happens to be Stanley Gene's age, most people on this board's IQ, and the number of times Blacky juggled the ball before dropping it in the NRC Semi Final when "a country mile" clear, oh and is also the number of points widnes put on your boys last year at the Stobart. And is also the number of times I watched the NRC final searching for a halifax shirt but I couldnt see Penky or Bob or Big Frank. Have I missed something. You're the best club in the world aren't you? Perfect mix and all that?

Ahhh all this from a supporter whos side finished joint 5th in the league. Where did you finish the season before last? Was it 5th again? I think you should worry about your own team.

What a load of garbage, a wind up obviously.
Oh and by the way I work with two ex Runcorn lads, they came to live in Yorkshire (one lives in Huddersfield and one in Leeds) and they never mention their hometown nor go back much, funny that.
Now go away please.

Quote: RuncornViking "Firstly, I come from Runcorn, if you couldn't read the name. Sorry I assumed you could. That was my first mistake clearly. Never assume a yorkshireman can read. Should of remembered that. Runcorn is infact in Cheshire. I was born in Chester and am currently living in Lancashire as I am a university student. If you can extract from anything I have just wrote that I am scouse then more power to you sir!!

And how are you today, by the way?'"

this is not just in reference to this one post but all the the splurge of posts you have made in one day, was it learn to type day at pre-school.

my main problem with all these posts is they are completely unprovoked and if i may say so about 5 months late, incase you didnt know the season finished nearlly 2 months ago.

most of the Vikins fans have been and gone with there banter and thats all it was banter about us winning anything and we can take that on the chin like reasonable MATURE human beings but seen as though you havent got rid of your baby teeth yet.

these boards are for anyone and anyone can go on anyone elses board and have a banter with other fans everyone can take it on the chin and move on.

you on the other hand have come on here obviously you have been asleep or somethnig for the last 2 months since the season ended because you only fet the need to post this today.

you have come on here and you have so far said that "Yorkshire Folk" as you put it can't read and i'm sure you have said other things.

now i have seen many Vikings fans views on these boards before and most of them are reasonable fans who want to have a laugh and some banter you are just slanderous and should be bared from these boards if you have nothing constructive to say.

come back in 10 years when you reach Teenager status and see if you can be a little bit more Mature about what you say.

have a nice day, Runcorn Viking.

I think I owe you guys an apology.

I was fully out of order with the things I said, I got totally and utterly carried away and it was wrong of me. I have no excuse for my behaviour, reading everything back I am embarassed by what I said and you're fully justified to be livid with me to say the least. I hope you accept my apology and in the future if I ever venture on to this board again it will only be for constructive purposes. I hope we can draw a line under this and get back to rugby league debate.

Once again, please accept my apology and I am not proud of the offence I have caused. Fair enough if you still think I'm a turd, i probably would think that too. I was having a bad day and took the opportunity to vent my spleen inappropiately.

Best of luck for the season.

well it certainly was big of you to come on here and appologise.

i still dont understand why 2 months after the season finished you need to bring last season back up again.

as long as it never happens again then i suppose it can be forgotten.

although some of the things you said yesterday were truly out of order
