Suppose it depends on whether the Council are willing to spend any cash on doing it up. I doubt it.

i meant this is the bit of land the council wanted for development, shops, hotel etc with new stand underneath.

Money does not stop putting the fencing back up and making sure those fencing panels were looked after, excuses every time as usual.
There are no games at the moment down the Shay so why not do the fencing???

It was the SST who dreamed that one up not the Council, I cannot see it ever happening tbh.
I do hope that the Skircoat is improved or replaced in the future as we do not want to revert to a 3 sided stadium it would mean we would never get any big games at the Shay due to not having a big enough capacity.
Look at Widnes they did that far end and hardly use it but it means they get big games as they have the right capacity. |

No all we need is 13,000 or 14,000 like Widnes.
So it would not be good to have a RLCC semi final in Halifax or an England representative football team down the Shay?
