Hope he improves then from last season as he was very poor half the time and a target for opposite teams for a reason, BUT its silly mitakes he makes like not holing the ball right or playing the ball correctly. It's like he's been picked from the gym with no rugby brain to back it up, sort this and he would be a useful player but for me jury is still out untill those simple mistakes are gone from his game.

Its great news. I can't understand the nay-sayers concerning Rob, they want to open their eyes and watch him without predjudice. He's fast and exciting, he never hides in defence or attack, and has had a good season.

Yes but he scores 2 and lets in 3 or makes 3 silly schoolboy errors, even watching in the final he made some simple errors like not playing the ball right or losing posession easily, v fev he made a few simple errors that put pressure on fax.

Im aware he is good in attack when he wants to be and cutting out those silly errors he makes every game will make him a welcome addition to any team.

No they don't. Theres a reason he gets pushed infield on the 5th tackle and Haley goes on the wing. Potential is there yes but so were plenty of errors that took the shine off it.

For me he is very inconsistant. Great going forward-though maybe a bit more self confidence would be good and back himself to beat people with his speed and strength.
The negatives are he is not good under a highball or low kick-He is rather clumsy. He is a weakness in the defence due to this. His tackling could and should be better. A big guy like that should be knocking the feck out of his usually smaller wingman-instead he tries grabbing with his hands-and misses. The coaching staff have to work with Rob on them areas for me.
I am still not sure with Rob as you cant fault his effort, but for me 2010 he has to be alot more consistant and work on his problem areas.

i doubted rob for the 1st half of the season but he proved me wrong near the end... every player in this squad have made mistakes... unfortunatley for rob he was under the hawk eye with bein a new signing and the reputation he has with his speed...

He has potential yes, he also makes far too many mistakes to be classed as the finished article, Matt can see this.

Im sure Rob knows this aspect of his game needs work on, none of us need to give him some slack its a case of pointing out blatently obvious aspects of his game that he needs to improve to become a very good winger.

all im sayin is fax fans (both on and off RLfans) are very fast to point out Robs mistakes and treat him like he is just there to make up numbers. i agree he isnt a finished player yet but for that reason people are like lightening to put him down

To have a proper view look over a whole season. Why just focus on 4 games-in which he did make a number of mistakes which to be fair he should be better with. I am not saying he is crap or not good enough. I am saying he still has a lot to work on especially in defence and catching-and he knows that. He will never be a great player in the mould of Mark Preston or John Bentley but he can become a cult figure like Wilf George.
