Don't think we ever claimed Ellis had re-signed.
The speculation on Barrow looking for a hooker from Fax was originally started on this forum by Fax fans. Luisi being the subject of a player swap was also raised by Fax fans. No problem with that, all good healthy speculation and helps pass the dreary off season.
Personally I am sceptical about any proposed offer for any of the Fax squad, particularly one involving the exchange of one of our best players. Too risky to lose an established and qulaity player like Zeb on the speculation that the incoming player would setlle in the team, provide a net increase in the team performance, or most likely, stomach the travelling! |

Barrow for Super League 2015: |

All 5 (Allen, Roberts, Coyle, Halliwell and Balard) have signed for next season, some on 1yr and some on 2yr deals. Luisi has signed for 2 years, Young for 1 year, Catic for 1 year, Bauer, Campbell, Noone, Harrison and a few others.
In a nutshell, from the first team we have retained everyone except Ellis (Quins) and Finch (Workington).
IMO we need 2/3 players to come in with a hooker being the most necessary. |
