if we lose to Barrow then we will have a home game the week after to get to the final.

At the moment we are guarenteed one potential home tie. However we might have none. When we win saturday we will play Barrow. Win that and we play in the Grand Final. Lose and we play at home in the Final Eliminator. Win that and we're in the Grand Final.
Should we drop down to 4th or stay 3rd. Then we play at home against 5th or 6th. We could be at home again, depending on results, If we finishe 4th, then 3rd would have to lose for us to get a home tie. Should we finish 3rd then we would be at home no matter what. Then away in the final eliminator.
Or easier to put it
Round 1
3 v 6
4 v 5
Round 2
1 v 2
(winner 3 v 6) v (Winner 4 v 5) - highest seed at home (Only 3, 4 or 5)
Round 3
(Loser 1 v 2) v (Remaining Team of 3, 4, 5 , 6)
Round 4
Grand Final

they wont mind they will just want the game to be played. it is guarenteed to be on sky. maybe they can do something constructive and play the match on sunday they dont put super league matches on a sunday really anyway.
the bobbly pitch will not be good for our quick backs either, they go to pick the ball up and it bounces up off the turf and a knock on.

| Nothing is assured at moment. We are in 3rd postion so planning any trips is a little premature. Get behind the lads on sat, win, then start planning.
So i know its a clique however, lets take one game at a time.
Far play they finished top, but to celebrate the way they were doing maybe was a little premature. The hard work is still to come.
Come on fax lets have a win on saturday and kick onto the play off.
How many times did Dave Clark mention big des in his post match interview?

Quite right!
The more I think about Saturday's game, the more I start to worry. Fax have a bit of a habit of slipping up in what could be considered, to use a cliche, 'must win' games.
Let's hope they don't try, as they say, too hard but take a professionally relaxed approach, if there is such a thing, and just play to the best of each individual's and the team's ability. Then hopefully the result will take care of itself and Fax will win. But Fax cannot take Toulouse too lightly despite the result over there as they have taken a few scalps on the road, Gateshead and Fev included.

If we can't beat Toulouse at home then we shouldn't even bother thinking anything of a GF appearance.

True, but..........
The next few weeks will show the real mettle of the side. Can they go all the way or will they implode again? It's going to be interesting, not to say, nailbiting.
I'm keeping everything crossed for Saturday.
Craven Park might be one of the worst RL grounds (a throwback to the 1950s or earlier and such a contrast to the extremely high-tech industrial complex across the road), but it must be the only one where, a couple of miles or so outside the town on the main road in from Ulverston, you are quite likely to see giraffes or rhinos (no, not Karl Harrison) by the roadside (behind a fence though). Anyway, that's what I saw on a recent trip to Barrow.....and I hadn't been drinking.

When will we ever learn? Toulouse have won 9 lost 10, they're not dummies, and especially the way we've played the past few weeks why do folk think it's gonna be a walk over!?

I don't.
But, simply, if we have any aspirations of the GF we have to be beating "mid-table" teams (at best !!) at home. Am i right?
