Our forwards are e end of. Andy Bowman has been shocking in every game he has played bar one yet still held his place tonight. I dont wish injury on any player but after being responsible for Batleys first two trys didnt we look stronger with him off the the field.

most probably walking off like that cause most of them are on performance related pay , and have been getting poor wages for the last few weeks

One of your most stand out players of the last few seasons, plays a few months with a broken hand as he was asked to when he shouldnt have, plays a few games out of position so loses some form and doesnt clap when they get beat by a bottom half team and knows he didnt play well and suddenly some "fans" are on his back, unbelieveable. To start a thread about a certain player not just sean saying how his contract should be ripped up when the players go on these boards is staggeringly disrespectful to a player only a few games ago was the cause of much happiness as he signed for you and not Leigh.

Got to agree with this post really I do not believe people should put negative posts about individual players on this message board.I know it`s hard when you expect that at last this year just maybe the year when at last we can win a bit of something but it`s not the way.
I am sure if the players do read the posts they realise it is only a minority of fans and 1 person who is responsible for most of it posts under various aliass`.
I am not saying I don`t question myself what has hapened and to be honest I had a feeling Batley would beat us last night but we can do without a lot of things that have been said .

Tripping is not an automatic sending off anymore

There is no such rule that covers automatic dismissal or temporary suspension. The only rule is

6. In the event of misconduct by a player, the Referee shall, at his discretion, caution, temporarily suspend for ten minutes, or dismiss the offender.

The RFL will ocassionally give a guideline as to what maybe a sin bin or dismissal but it is not written in the laws.

i was the one who said his contract should be ripped and no didnt think this was the best signing for fax ethier . gleeson is my number one hooker for us in my eyes . why is it disrespectful

yes sean is a good player and he can change a game when hes on the pitch but the flip side is that he can cost u a lot of points by trying to push the pass when its not there and also can go missing like black does in games . if u put in a poor performance then u take the flak thats life . hopefully he will make me eat my words and fax will come through this sticky patch , but i dont see any light at the end of the tunnel at the mo

He is one of the best players in the league the only problem he has at the moment is he is trying to shoulder the responsiblity of the whole team, the errors he is making are always in an attempt to make a gap/break. He is putting his hand up every week its just not happening for him at the mo, i wouldnt swap him for any other 9 in the league except maybe Gleeson.

as for bowman how can you judge him on a handful of appearences, i didnt see ppl complaining bout him when he scored a hatrick earlier in the year. you have to understand we have no reserve team so those weeks when he was not selected he wasnt getting any match practice, then to be thrown into the team which is struggling is always going to be tough.

everyone has the right to post their opinions on here but slagging individual players off is just bad for morale.

I was sat in the middle of the Batley fans last night and they kept saying he is definately our best player, he looked dangerous everytime he got the ball, okay he made some errors, but like you said I think he is trying too hard.

I too, would not swap him for any other hooker in this league.

I remember how good it felt when he signed a 2 year contract, no difference now.

I personally think penky has always had mistakes in his game but more often than not in the past his good points (sometimes winning us the game) has masked the mistakes that he did used to make, were now he is trying to hard to compensate for his errors forcing more. Hoepfully he will buck up, because at present he is a long long way off the player he can be and I hope it is not a case of being too familar with your coach and getting a place on the team regardless.
