whether penky goes to fev remains to be seen. The fact is that KH doesn't have him in his plans for next year unless someone can change his mind. Handforth at 9 is his plan.

It would be a massive mistake not to retain penky, He is a match winner and has saved us more times than i have changed my underpants over the years, ( ok, slight exaduration but you get my point ).

Can you imagine him playing for another team with a point to prove against us. NO NO NO, get him signed up, Also i am hearing rumblings on twitter about Keith Senior, We all know he comes down to watch his Mate Ambler, Daryl Powell rambling on about us spending big money, IS there something in it ?. Maybe he is ticked off and Tonka is signing for us, We will wait and see for the silly season to start.

I dont think what KH said last year has any bearing now. But his current thinking for next year is Handforth at 9. I know there are people close to KH trying to change his mind. Lets hope they do.

I have heard persistent rumours that Penky is on his way out after this season and I was gutted when heard and it simply won't go away. The silence on a new contract for him when everyone else appears sorted seems to support this but it could be a big smokescreen. I've also been told we have a signed an "exciting" half back for next year which again would support playing Handforth at 9??

Its that time of season again so it could all be complete garbage and Penky's contract could be sat signed and sealed in the safe at The Shay and I for one hope it is as I think Penky is a different class and would be devastated to see him playing against us.

I am a big penky fan, but lets face it, if he moves on, we have had the very best of him; as you get older, you may just want that fresh challenge, or that little bit extra in the bank before you look at retirement from the professional game.

if he goes, good luck to him, he doesn't owe us anything, without him we wouldn't have been half the team we have been in recent years.

Penky has, and always will be in my eyes and absolute Fax legend. This will remain if he stays or goes due to the service and quality he has provided over the last ** years.

Loyalty is rare in sport these days, but as typified by your Penky / Barlow etc of this world, we are extremely lucky at Fax over the last few years.

I personally believe Penky will stay, but again, my view would not waiver in the slightest if he were to seek pastures new. Just hope he doesn't end up in the same league as us!!
