There were no pretensions at Thrum Hall, it was always a delapidated stadium, the highest ground in Rugby League, but no matter what you or your acolyites say, it was a Rugby ground, close to the pitch, close enough to see the steam rising from the pack, close enough to see the bench of both sides, be able to walk around at half time, a lovely bar run by the "taverners" so don't give us that, my ground is better than your ground.
If you really were honest, you would confirm that your ground, including surroundings was the worst in Super League, The Shay is a great Stadium, Fev, Leigh, Doncaster, make your ground look like a ???
No disrespect intended.

JD, I must take you to task over this. You must remember the Eagles of Sheffield-shire competing in the egret of RL that is SL, therefore, surely they must have played at a stadium ( sic ) of lesser SL calibre than ODSAL/RFL

My Dad boxed Henry Cooper when they were both amateurs in London.
PM'ed you.

There ya go! All these years being miserable, suddenly you read some 'drivel' and now, like the late Jack Bruce, you're 'glad'!
Does this late-onset gladness make up for all the years of pain, though?

| I've really missed the Bulls and the bandwagon hopping plastic fans. I'm finding out now why they have the right to be arrogant. The championship will be a much more pleasant place to be know we all know where we belong

The full time professional squad playing in a ground bought by the RFL to rules designed to get the icons straight back to super league after screwing their own fans bandwagon. Aye, that's the one.

We have never had "years of pain"
After all a roller coaster isn't pain, it's exciting, exhilarating, often makes you sick, but you always get back on for another ride.
We are Halifax, we self implode regularly, but we are proud of our ride, tickets please.
O'h by the way we pay full price for our tickets.

You need to look up what bandwagon means because not a word of your curious post makes sense in that context.

Looked it up,
"The bandwagon effect is a phenomenon whereby the rate of uptake of beliefs, ideas, fads and trends increases the more that they have already been adopted by others. In other words, the bandwagon effect is characterized by the probability of individual adoption increasing with respect to the proportion who have already done so.[1] As more people come to believe in something, others also "hop on the bandwagon" regardless of the underlying evidence.
The tendency to follow the actions or beliefs of others can occur because individuals directly prefer to conform, or because individuals derive information from others. Both explanations have been used for evidence of conformity in psychological experiments. For example, social pressure has been used to explain Asch's conformity experiments,[2] and information has been used to explain Sherif's autokinetic experiment.[3]"
So that means Huddshay, you and me don't know the answer.
So let's draw a line, what's the point of falling out, after all we are "Rugby League"

| I must say, I preferred playing at Thrum Hall rather than Odslum. We left Leigh one midweek in glorius sunshine, only to play Rugby with about 3 meters visibility because of the Fog. I'm surprised it didnt snow at Odsal too !!
Thrum hall oozes atmosphere with its terraced 'shed end' and the slope to boot.
Belle Views a dump, but crdit where its due, it was the best playing surface of the lot !!
