There are certainly a few current SL players being linked with us currently who in my opinion would still do a very good job in SL. Be interesting to see who (if any at all!!) sign for Fax!!

Stu Fielden would be an excellent signing if you got him but he would also be a good signing for any championship club the gets his signature
Personally think he will be in S/ L next season but you never no where he could end up

Would it? Not convinced, large wage and injury prone, no thanks, I would rather have a young up and coming talent. Kopczak would do nicely. |

Bracek is a solid addition to the squad, but not a big signing; The biggest plus of this signing is thats its not the signiing of Keith Senior;
My question is what do the club define as a big signing? If it means signing a former super league player, past his best, potentially injury prone, demanding a big salary (for this level), then I would rather give that a miss. Some of the "big" names I am hearing worry me, sounds like a waste of hard earned cash;
I know that sounds really negative, but I feel, if we aren't careful, we can spend a lot of cash for little real return.
Get some S/L fringe players in, like Ambler who has proved a real addition with a real desire to show his worth.
KH has the connections to bring in some of these type of players from the top S/L clubs.

Totally agree, don't want any old timers stretching their careers.
look at Fozzy at Dewsbury, got targeted every week cos of who he was and eventually his body gave in. Great player in his day, just goes to show you can't under estimate the championships physicality. |
