Got to open the North stand for me. Fev, like us and a few other clubs do have their fair share of idiots which nearly erupted last time we played them. Come on Fax, we dont need the hassle TBH!

Lets hope someone from the council or club reads this and acts on it, because it could do rugby and Fax harm if we see anything like last time in front of the tv camera's. A lot of people will finish work and have a few light ales down them prior to kick off in what will be a heated and passionate game, it would be foolish of both clubs to end up getting fined and reputations tarnished because a few young idiots were not kept apart. It would also spoil it for brave soles who will want to take children and family to the game, common sense prevail please..................

We should ask some members from Sky to bring their kids to the game and try watch a family sport in the middle of those buffoons.
Sky can film from Madison Sqaure Gardens to Old Trafford, im sure they can cope with the North Stand being open.

just got flyer. for next years season tickets.
was said earlier that when east stand opens the skircoat will shut.
but on flyer ticket prices are all different for south, east and skircoat stands.
and transfers from south to skircoat at all or vice versa.
skircoat entry will be from the hunger hill gates only.
if so why cant they use this entry for only the north stand for thursday.

Seems like Widnes had problems with some of the Fev lot.

Sounds familiar, it was like that even when they came to thrum hall.
god help the club if we lose and theres crowd trouble, the damage to its integrity will be huge... the amount of hacked off punters in one night doesn't bear too much thought.
Heres hoping were segregated, Matt James plays, Penky doesn't play scrum half and we win and get a day out in October...

If it's not open it's going to kick off a lot and things will be thrown all over the place. I can't see it not being open, it'd just be irresponsable not to and asking for trouble which will happen.

I was sat in the middle of the Rovers fans last night and was also annoyed when a young supporter forgot he had a beer bottle in one hand as he danced in delight at our first try and told him in no uncertain terms. He was removed by the stewards. I also agree that sometimes there is too much 'industrial language' but I also talked to a lot of Widnes fans after the game and there was no mention of trouble just congratulations on a game well won and the reasons for it.

All clubs have a small group of young hotheads but don't confuse the passion and commitment of the rest with troublemaking.

As we had a dead Sunday I came to the Halifax v Barrow game and the few idiots in both camps were as usual looking for trouble.

I agree. But we have a stand there for away fans. We should use it. Im presuming you will bring more than you normaly do on Thursday so we should give you your own end.

I can't believe what I've just read. Get a grip. RL is a family sport and talk of crowd trouble is rediculous. So some people goaded each other last time? Wow! Start routine segregation and you're on a slippery slope to the current football mentality. I like it when the North Stand is open but only because the ground looks fuller. I enjoy the banter and the laugh with away fans as we did at Thrum Hall since the day I started watching Fax.

All this talk of crowd trouble is garbage. I've been a home and away Fax fan since I was 10 and I've seen two or three incidents that you mildly class as crowd trouble. I take my 4 year old home and away now and never even think about standing or sitting in a place where there are no away fans.

Take the banter and give it back with a smile on your face.

You must be blind then mate cos ive seen it three times in the south stand in the past 12 months . Against Leigh and Fev this season and Haven last season. Both their fans and ours. Banter is banter but abuse is abuse . Drunken men effin and blinding in front of women and kids is abuse in my book.

Agree, it's been quite frequent recently but it is not something I have not seen in the past. Have horrible memories of seeing clashes with Hull and Fev when when we were at Thrumhall, especially away to Hull.

it's a no brainer - the away stand should be open.

Knock out semi final rugby against local (WY) rivals has "potential" crowd trouble all over it.

Anyway, if Fev bring >500 how will they fit in the South Stand?
