Leigh 22v22 Fax

Can't ask much more from our side of things going in to the game, almost full strength, good form and we look dangerous in attack.
Pretty sure the lads will rip in from the first whistle and give it a real go.
At our best and if things go our way we might just get something but head says Leigh will be just that bit too strong across the park, either way it should be a cracking game.

One of those days I am afraid . Not at the races today .

As i have stated on another forum, Leigh played to a simple game plan again today like Batley away, almost just 5 drives and a kick. Fax threw some decent attacking shape at us but the Leigh defence is some of the best i have seen at the LSV in years. Fax
Completed very high and didn’t really do much wrong without really threatening.

I was skeptical when we signed Ferguson I thought he might upset the apple cart but I have to say I’ve been really impressed with his attitude and buy in, he always takes the hard carries and gets us on the front foot and his class is evident in everything he does, I also think Inu has been outstanding in attack and defence.

Im really pleased with Lam At the minute his game plans have been spot on and the team looks like a strong unit.

We went, we tried and didn’t conquer. We never looked like braking Leigh down. They are very strong across very part of the park. Didn’t rate Hicks as the ref. What did Leigh think about him? Onwards and upwards

I actually thought he was OK today Hicks, not one penalty for either team for off side and he let the game flow, thought the E Sin Bin was harsh.

I didn’t see the late tackle that caused the sin bin so I can’t comment but there was lots of off side non of which was picked up and should be quite a few forward passes missed as well.

Leigh best side we have played. Quality all over the park. Can see you getting promoted. Problem is you go up and money means nothing.

A classic example of one of the best verses one of the rest with a relative dominant display from the Leythers in all departments.

No shame in that result against the best team that has ever been put together in the Championship. I said elsewhere that if they added a couple of quality half backs to that team I reckon then this team would be good enough for a mid table finish in SL. As it is its now so important that we get 3rd and avoid another trip over there in the playoffs.

Reffed to SL standard then............ my only issue with that stuff is when its all one way - he pulled neither yesterday.

Fax didn't do much wrong but we were back to our best defensively, which we seemed to forget about on Thursday.

We missed Mellor again yesterday but Higano was better than at Barrow, like the look of your FB.
