I'm happy travelling to Sale this weekend and paying to support my own team thanks. Good luck with the exercise, and you'll maybe get some folk to send marketing messages to (I'd use a temporary e-mail if I was interested), but cheap (or free) tickets come back to bite when you eventually put the prices back up to sensible levels.

I fell asleep the last time these two teams played and was shown on Sky. The only thing that kept waking me up was a cow bell that kept being clonked every time more that two passes were strung together.
Product will need to be a lot better on the field to entice the 10k people turning up this time to come back again, or the job will be a waste of marketing time and money.

After all, it's cost them nothing anyway and they'll probably revert to their original plan of watching Portugal v Spain in the pub. And as for the other half, very unlikely they'll pay next time out (seeing that they haven't paid before).

Charging say a tenner is another matter, however. Might only get 2,000 taking up the offer, but will net 20 grand for starters and more likely be repeat attendees given they're paid summat this time round.

Its a shame to see genuine Fax fans slating another club for trying promote themselves/the game and open up to new fans.

Shocking match. I wish I'd watched Love Island. A stranger switching this on, seeing the poor quality together with an empty stand and 3 sply populated stands, would laugh if told it was "top tier rugby league". Nay, not just rugby league but SUPER league!

If that is the case why don't Fax reduce to a tenner and get 4000 down bringing atmosphere to the game ?
