As the title says a fitting end to a dreadful season. I like so many others had such high hopes at the beginning of the season but I am actually glad it is over now. Unfortunately the success of last season seems to have gone to RMs head and I have heard all the same things everyone else has heard - arrogant, doesn't listen, favours half the squad and ignores the other half, players don't really know what he wants....and generally Fax has been a very unhappy place to work and play. He needs to give his head a good shake and learn from this season and learn some man management skills and listen to the other coaching staff ( if they are still here next year ) Unless he sorts himself out, it doesn't matter who we recruit for next year we will get the same result. To be honest the new recruits don't look particularly promising, we are just replacing like for like imo so it needs to be a change in leadership style that will make the difference. I am not sure where all the money has gone either - I also hear we are skint. Surely the reserves hasn't cost £450k ?

When the news broke about RMs new contract i was the only negative contributor initially,don't think i'm in the minority now....

Problem many of you have is that your squad (and Marshall) are nowhere near as good as you were claiming at the start of the season. TBH you were pretty mediocre for much of last season too, but a combination of a mini Fev implosion (just before Hay's departure) and a stomach bug in the Fev camp during the week before the game at PO Rd gave you a top 4 finish. A purple patch of form in the middle 8s (together with a slump in that of the other Champ clubs) further helped to bolster the illusion.........

In other news we put a man on the moon.

Stomach bug? I thought we finished about 6 points clear of Fev in 5th place last season or did I just dream that?

Our start last season wasn't great, but I hardly think winning the last 9 games to be "mediocre". And yes, we were clear by 6 points (and 201 points difference) of Fev in 5th. Only Leigh had a better defence than Fax last year, and tbh it's probably the hundred or so extra points we've conceded this time round that was our downfall.

Our goal line defence was so much better last year when the players seemed to be playing for each other but this season a team only had to look at our line to score.

A demoralising end of Season am i the only one concerned about the Match Programme as well going from 48 to 28 Pages for the last 3 Games if my Maths are correct a 41.66% drop therefore the Price should have been about £ 1.25 are we that desperate for money?

Yes total rip-off only bought the last ones because i have this season's full set.

Disappointing end to the season. Not watched any of the games in this meaningless competition. Hope we stick with the reserves because would make no sense to scrap after one season. Mistakes have been made and hopefully learned from. Wouldn't it have been better investing money on first team and cementing our spot in top 4. Once we had done this we could then have looked at a reserve setup.

Feel like we have gone backwards and talk of reduced staff/ cuts doesn't bode well.

Hopefully we can get that team ethic back in 2017, which was missing this season.

Like you i am an avid collector & wanted to have complete collection but feel totally ripped off
