Pete my friend,I disagree with the thread heading, as I will still visit the Shay next year, to have a chat with you and my other Fax friends, I wouldn't miss that, in fact Frank and myself are going to Salford this afternoon to watch Salford v Fev, and a drink with Fevgrinder.
I'm still celebrating after yesterday afternoon, though of course on Coca Cola  I spent last night in Blackpool, (I really did)with the Wigan Carolis,had a great time,I will look for the Fax result later today,and look forward to next year,in Super League ,Charlie knew.  .

The risk to the plan was failure to get promoted, as next year the Sky funding is equal to the cap.
We are now in a very good place, with 2/3 weeks more time than 2 SL clubs to secure players plus a fantastic deal with LSV due to being built without debt which is likely to see us being paid to play there
It is true about the Far East interest but not as owners but shirt sponsors, they have done a bit this season and the deal would dwarf any other in SL should it happen, they seemed to have a great day against shudds
We intend to build a great academy and wouldn't mind Marshall to run it tbh, after all we are awash with spare cash next year |

I always think with Leigh the problem will be always living in Wigan's shadow. Young players want to play for Wigan not Leigh and when the money runs out which it always seem to have a habit of doing at clubs like Leigh it can quickly come tumbling back down. |
