Whilst it should be every players goal to play at the highest level they can would a move to Salford be a forward step? They are A S/L side and doing ok this year, but their recent past has not been covered in glory.

He will get a better SL club than Salford if he sticks at it. Sometimes its not always about wanting to earn more money or whatever sometimes its about doing what makes you happy.

This is no disrespect to Tangata, who I think is an exceptional player...

BUT, lets not over do it, I dont think too many SL clubs will be fighting to sign an overseas player, who's a prop and who's never played at SL level. Whilst I have no doubts he would go well in SL, I dont think many clubs would take that punt.

Have to totally disagree,Overseas signings are always risky for a variety of reasons,i would think one that's already here and established would be attractive.He's also played against s/l opposition on several occasions and will again soon..all being well.

Will he count as an overseas player or does he come with some smaller nation dispensation?
