Well played today and to be honest Widnes where not at their best. A few just coming back from long term injuries too. Brown,Tickle,Runciman and White will get better. In my opinion Flynn should be playing befor Ah Van. Anyway goodluck in the rest of your games and i am sure you will win a few games. Beat Salford and Wakefield.

A bit simplamatic to say Widnes were not at their best, players coming back etc etc.
The simple fact is we had a prop coming back from 10 weeks off, players who can only train twice a week, and are playing every weekend because of our small squad.

Both teams defended really well. We were just shocking going forward. Brown had a stinker and we seemed to play ultra careful, not throwing the ball about at all.

I would totally agree 14-0 totally flattered us and id even consider us lucky to have won.

There was me thinking you must have played well, you were unlucky etc, then I read the final comment. All I can think now 'bunch of t0ssers, glad you got stuffed'.

So proud of that effort today. Just lack a bit of class to open up defences in tight games like that.

Rotation is going to be key. Assuming the squad is fully fit we should have divorty, robbo, potts, clem, spencer, ecclestone that can all come in and do a job.

Mikey Wood was in the warm up and I think Menzies went back.

Nice trip out to Halifax and as always it was a tough one, i don't think either side played great at times but it was an enjoyable trip and at least it didn't rain.



Impressed with Manning, he has a terrific engine on him and the small guy with his socks around his ankles (Johnson?) is always threat with his speed, Saltonstall also impressive. How we didn't manage to score with all the possession in the first half is beyond me but well done and good luck in your remaining fixtures.

Another poster saying if they scored early they would run up a cricket score. Its ok to have an opinion but clueless people should not be able to offer one.

And if my aunty had balls she'd be my uncle.
They didn't score because we stopped them, as they stopped us. It was a proper blood and guts game not the usual 96-54 you get in SL.
